Day 1 : Mumbai
Arrival at Mumbai, where our representative will assist you and later transfer to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 : Mumbai
After breakfast, visit the beaches here in Mumbai. Famous beaches are Marine Drive also called the Queen's Necklace because of its appearance after dark, Juhu Beach, Chowpatty Beach famous for food stalls and hustle and bustle.
Other tourist attractions are The Gateway of India, Elephanta Island where you can enjoy a short ferry ride, Prince of Wales Museum, Chattrapati Shivaji Terminus, Flora Fountain, Hanging Gardens, Kamla Nehru Park. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3 : Mumbai - Ahmedabad
After breakfast, leave for Ahmedabad. enroute visit the Sun temple at Modhera. Built in 1026-27 AD and bears some resemblance to the Sun temple at Konark which it predates by some 200 years. Later drive further to Ahmedabad. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4 : Ahmedabad
After breakfast, city tour of Ahmedabad. The city was founded in 1411 by Ahmed Shah from whom the city takes its name. Start with the Heritage Walk Visit and then proceed to Siddhi Sayad Masjid and Swaminarayan Temple. In the afternoon, visit Gandhinagar – Akshardam Temples. On the way back to the hotel, halt at Adalaj Stepwell. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5 : Ahmedabad - Wankaner
Transfer to airport for flight to Rajkot. Arrive and drive to Wankaner. Afternoon city tour of Wankaner includes visit to stupendous 1907 Ranjit Vilas Palace. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6 : Wankaner - Gir
Early morning drive to Sasan Gir Forest for game viewing. This forest is the last remaining natural habitat of the Asiatic Lions, teak and deciduous forest, leopard, deer, monkeys, hyena, peacocks etc.
Day 7 : Gir
Full day game viewing at the Jungle.
Day 8 : Gir - Palitana
Morning drive to Palitana. Afternoon city tour. Palitana is a gateway to Shatrunjaya, the Place of Victory. It is famous as one of Jainism's holiest pilgrimage places. The climb up 2 kms to the hill will lead you into 863 different Jain temples built over a period of 900 years. The most important temple is dedicated to Sri Adhiswara, the first tirthankar a Jain Founder) Nearby is the muslim shrine of Angar pi. Childless women come here and make offering of miniature cradles at thisshrine to become mothers. Overnight at hotel.
Day 9 : Palitana - Bhavnagar
Morning drive to Bhavnagar. Afternoon city tour. Bhavnagar was once a Princely State, was founded in 1743 is now a flourishing port of Khambat. This city is famous for sacred Shatrunjaya hills, Takhteswar temple situated on hilltop and Gaurshankar lake. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10 : Bhavnagar - Mumbai
Morning transfer to airport for flight to Mumbai.
